Job summary

Rochester Community and Technical College seeks a Building Utilities Mechanics Faculty to deliver high-quality theoretical and hands-on instruction in HVAC, electrical theory, and building systems within the Facilities and Services Technology program.

The instructor will design courses, manage labs, assess student outcomes, maintain records, and participate in college committees and advisory activities while keeping abreast of industry practices.

Qualifications

• Two-year diploma in an electrician program or completion of a registered electrician apprenticeship program.
• Associate degree in a building utilities mechanic program or a building facilities technology program.
• Associate degree in an HVAC or related program.

Responsibilities

• Developing and delivering course content and instructional materials.
• Assessing and evaluating student learning and maintaining records.
• Providing guidance to students inside and outside the classroom to promote progress.

Education

Two-year electrician diploma or electrician apprenticeship
