General Summary
Applies a working knowledge with several of the essential job accountabilities. The qualified Craftsman should also possess a basic understanding for various other responsibilities represented under the remaining essential job accountability categories.
Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
- The following are essential job accountabilities; Plumber - Understand methods involved in assembling piping materials such as copper, black iron, cast iron, PVC, and others. - Be able to effectively solder, braze and assemble piping systems with proficiency and accuracy per code. - Basic understanding of domestic water, sanitary waste, and steam systems with the ability to troubleshoot and make basic repairs. - Ability to read riser diagrams and plumbing schematics. Basic understanding of plumbing fixtures and related installations for sinks, toilets, water heaters, eye wash stations, mixing valves, sprinklers, and drinking fountains.

- Must be able to perform overtime, work weekends and other shifts when needed.
- Must be able to perform on-call duties if assigned.
- Must display good communication skills, problem solving abilities and be a critical thinker.

Qualifications
Minimum Education:
- High School Diploma or GED Required
- Certificate Program Vocational or Technical Schooling. Preferred
- Journeyman Certificate Preferred
Work Experience:
- 2 years Relevant experience. Required
Driver's License Statement:
Must possess a valid driver's license in the current state of residence. Driving record must meet requirements established by WellSpan Risk Management.
Courses and Training:
- Refrigerant Handling Certification. Upon Hire Preferred
