Job summary

First Chair Destinations is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service vacation rental properties, performing general repairs, preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of appliances, HVAC, plumbing, and wifi. You’ll travel daily between properties and participate in an on-call rotation to address urgent issues, ensuring guest satisfaction.

The role requires 30–40 hours per week with weekends and holidays possibly required.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel, hospitality, vacation or similar industry preferred.
• At least 2 years of basic property maintenance experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of appliances, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, and carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Travel between multiple worksites daily to complete maintenance tasks.
• Keep homes well maintained with preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Troubleshoot guest issues including appliances, wifi, and basic HVAC.
• Coordinate owner-approved maintenance with vendors.
• Maintain on-call coverage for urgent issues.
• Meet company standards for guest satisfaction and efficiency.
• Maintain hot tubs with on-site training.
• Assist colleagues and management as needed.
