Job summary

Klamath Basin Behavioral Health seeks a Facilities Technician to help maintain safe, functional spaces that support high‑quality behavioral health care. You will perform routine and preventive maintenance, basic repairs, and safety checks across our facilities in Klamath Falls.

You’ll collaborate with clinical and administrative teams, coordinate vendors, and support program and community event setups while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience performing preventive maintenance in facilities.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical issues.
• Familiarity with building safety codes and compliance standards.
• Proficient with hand and power tools; able to read manuals and schematics.
• Experience handling work orders, maintenance logs, and coordinating vendors.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on facilities, building systems, and equipment to support safe behavioral health operations
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical issues or coordinate vendors as needed
• Respond to work orders and facility requests promptly, prioritizing safety and client care needs
• Maintain clean, safe, and compliant interior and exterior spaces, including minor repairs, painting, and grounds support
• Assist with safety checks, emergency preparedness, and compliance with health, fire, and regulatory standards
• Support room setups, furniture moves, and facility preparations for programs and community events
• Maintain logs, maintenance records, and inventory of tools, supplies, and parts
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to minimize disruption to client services during maintenance work
