Job summary

Lake Highland Preparatory School is seeking a Facilities Technician for the PM shift to support safe, clean, and functional facilities and grounds. This full-time, 12-month role offers paid training, uniform reimbursement, and a fully subsidized lunch program for the position.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 2+ years in maintenance or a related trade, with Florida driver’s license. Experience in a school setting and in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of experience in general building maintenance, facilities, construction, or a related trade; or completion of a relevant technical training program or certificate.
• Valid State of Florida Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Preferred: prior experience in a school, college, or similar institutional setting; experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or another skilled trade.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe, clean, and functional facilities and grounds to support daily school activities and events.
• Perform routine maintenance, repair, and operations tasks as part of the Facilities team.
• Provide excellent service to students, faculty, staff, and families.
