Job summary

Mizuho OSI is seeking a versatile Utility Technician to handle building maintenance, repairs, and janitorial tasks across the facility. You will support preventive maintenance and assist with equipment upkeep

and will be part of the safety-focused team ensuring compliance with quality systems and OSHA standards. The role requires shift flexibility and a valid CA driver’s license along with forklift certification within 60 days.

Qualifications

• Flexible working hours to support shiftwork across early morning to midnight.
• High school diploma or GED; post-secondary programs in electrical, mechanical, HVAC or plumbing preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year related experience as facilities handyman or janitor.
• Valid CA driver’s license; forklift certification within 60 days of employment.
• OSHA-10 General Industry and First Aid/CPR within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on facility mechanical, electrical, and related systems.
• Assist with equipment and tool upkeep, building management systems, and repairs.
• Conduct facility inspections and report issues affecting operations.
• Respond to onsite emergencies as part of the emergency team.
• Comply with safety procedures and support after-hours building needs.
• Work outdoors on roofs, in hot/cold weather, up to 10 feet heights as required.
