Job description

Overview

Our growing company is seeking a responsible individual to inspect, maintain, and repair building infrastructure related to plumbing and maintenance. The successful candidate will oversee Esri's facility plumbing operations while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Repair or replace faucets, sinks, garbage disposals, toilets, shower valves, and more.
• Clear and maintain storm drains and roof drains; perform pipe replacements.
• Monitor and maintain all campus sump pumps; use drain snakes to clear sewer lines.
• Maintain clear operation of all campus fountains.
• Assist with rain leak emergencies, including sandbagging and roof leak repairs.
• Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on campus plumbing systems.
• Additional facilities maintenance tasks such as pest control, general building/office maintenance, and responding to service requests.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of experience in plumbing installation and repair.
• Proficiency with plumbing tools such as electric snakes, pipe threaders, torches, spanner wrenches, etc.
• Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Physical ability to work on ladders, man-lifts, and in various environments.
• Adherence to safe working practices per industry standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Recommended Qualifications

• Experience with governmental permits and documentation.
• College or trade school education is a plus.
• Knowledge of construction practices.
• Understanding of insurance requirements in a corporate setting.
