Job summary

County of El Dorado is seeking an Agency Facilities Technician to provide a wide range of on-site facilities support, including furniture setup, equipment relocation, and basic electrical tasks. The position requires a high school diploma and 1 year of related experience, with valid driver’s license preferred.

Qualifications

• Combination of required experience, education, and training; education alone cannot substitute for experience.
• Equivalent to graduation from high school; AND one year of basic facility support, maintenance, or operations tasks with hand/power tools.

Responsibilities

• Move, lift, assemble, and install office furniture to support relocations and daily operations.
• Install, adjust, and repair modular furniture systems and manage cable wiring for workspace reconfiguration.
• Escort contractors and vendors within facilities; monitor access and keep spaces secured.
