Job summary

Flynn Fitness Group LLC is seeking a Facilities Technician in Oakland, CA to perform skilled maintenance across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and fitness equipment. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will help keep club facilities safe and functional.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, and familiarity with CMMS systems. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external vendors is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in facility maintenance or related field.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• Must possess a valid and current driver's license and pass driver's license verification.
• Familiarity with fitness equipment maintenance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on fitness equipment, plumbing fixtures, HVAC, and electrical systems.
• Manage building automation systems including card access and lighting controls.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and emergency repairs to facility infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot water leaks, electrical faults, and malfunctioning equipment.
• Oversee installation and maintenance of plumbing fixtures and other equipment.
• Ensure repairs meet safety regulations and company standards.
• Provide oversight of external vendors and contractors and schedules.
• On-call for after-hours, weekend, and emergency response.
