Job summary

Flynn Fitness Group LLC is seeking a Facilities Technician to maintain and repair fitness equipment, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry across Planet Fitness clubs. You will work with the Facilities Manager and coordinate with cross-functional teams to keep facilities operating smoothly.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in facility maintenance, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel between sites. Prior fitness equipment experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of facility maintenance experience.
• HS diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel between sites.
• Familiarity with fitness equipment maintenance preferred.
• Experience with CMMS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on fitness equipment, plumbing, HVAC and electrical systems.
• Manage building automation systems, including card access and lighting controls.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on facility infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot water leaks, electrical faults, and faulty equipment.
• Oversee installation and maintenance of plumbing fixtures and other equipment.
• Ensure repairs meet safety regulations and company standards.
• Provide oversight of external vendors and contractors and manage schedules.
• Be on call for after-hours, weekend, and emergencies as needed.
