Job summary

Duke Raleigh Hospital, part of Duke Health, is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to support essential medical center facilities. You will perform minor repairs, assist journeyman craftsmen, and conduct scheduled inspections of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and refrigeration systems.

The role requires the ability to respond to on-call needs and to work with safety and reliability in a busy hospital environment.

Qualifications

• High school education with coursework in skilled crafts or trades.
• 2 years of experience in electrical, plumbing, carpentry and air conditioning equipment.
• Ability to perform minor repairs and assist journeyman level craftsmen.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor repairs and maintenance on Facilities equipment.
• Assist journeyman craftsmen with major repairs in electrical, plumbing, HVACR equipment.
• Inspect buildings and equipment on schedule and address minor malfunctions.
