Job summary

JM Family Enterprises seeks a Facilities Maintenance & Repair Technician in Jacksonville, FL to support safe operation of our vehicle processing center. You will perform routine maintenance, diagnose mechanical and plumbing issues, and document work in our CMMS while coordinating with a team.

The role requires 3–5 years of facilities maintenance experience, advanced plumbing knowledge, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work on-site with safety best practices.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of facilities, commercial, or industrial maintenance experience.
• Advanced plumbing knowledge and repair experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting of equipment, motors, and building systems.
• Experience performing preventive maintenance and inspections on facilities, equipment, or machinery.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, ladders, and safety practices.
• Experience using CMMS/work-order platforms or similar technology.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventive maintenance on facility systems, equipment, and grounds.
• Complete daily equipment inspections and monitor operating conditions (fluid levels, filters, alarms, etc.).
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, plumbing, and facility-related issues to minimize downtime.
• Support repairs and maintenance of equipment such as vehicle lifts, car wash systems, motors, and building systems.
• Complete general building repairs (plumbing, lighting, drywall, painting).
• Respond to service requests, provide timely updates, and ensure quality work with accurate documentation.
