Job summary

Integrative Staffing Group (ISG) / CareerSource Broward is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to support daily facility operations at the Fort Lauderdale Administrative Office. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in general building maintenance, repairs, painting, equipment setup, and facility upkeep.

This full-time, onsite position operates Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a starting salary of $40,000 annually.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 4 years of hands-on facility maintenance experience.
• Experience with painting, general repairs, equipment assembly, and building maintenance.
• Knowledge of maintenance tools, equipment, and safe operating procedures.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, with or without accommodation.
• Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple maintenance requests.

Responsibilities

• Perform general facility maintenance, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
• Complete interior spot painting, drywall patching, and minor repairs.
• Perform pressure washing and maintain exterior areas.
• Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot sprinkler systems.
• Assemble, install, relocate, and set up office furniture and equipment.
• Assist with office setups, meetings, and special events.
• Monitor landscaping, janitorial, pest control, and other vendor services.
• Replace light bulbs, ceiling tiles, and other facility components.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance and janitorial supplies.
• Assist with deliveries, storage, and transportation of materials.
• Identify and report facility maintenance and safety concerns.
• Coordinate with vendors and assist with facility improvement projects.
