Job summary

The Hospitality Hub of Memphis is seeking a Facilities Associate to maintain the Hub campus, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for staff, guests, and visitors. The role requires skilled maintenance in mechanical, carpentry, plumbing, painting, and drywall, with 5+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in construction, handyman or facilities work.
• Proficient with diagnostic, hand and power tools.
• Strong problem-solving abilities for maintenance issues.
• Good records keeping and log updates.
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• General Facility Maintenance: painting, minor construction, and repairs.
• Inspect and maintain mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems.
• Diagnose and repair issues; replace defective parts and fixtures.
• Maintain equipment and perform lubrication, cleaning, and part replacement.
• Adhere to safety protocols; ensure compliance and record logs.
• Inventory management for spare parts and supplies.
• Support onboarding and training of new hires and interns.
• Be available for extra shifts during extreme weather center operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
