Job summary

Memphis Maintenance is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform building maintenance, repair, and general facility upkeep to ensure a safe, functional environment for staff and guests.

You will monitor plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and life-safety systems; handle preventive maintenance; respond to service requests and emergencies; inspect facilities; and report safety or maintenance concerns to the Operations Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant maintenance experience in a commercial or residential environment.
• Flexible schedule including some nights and weekends.
• Knowledge of heating, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical systems, welding, door hardware, painting, carpentry, and landscape maintenance.
• Experience with boilers, pumps, and chillers preferred.
• OSHA 10, EPA, or plumbing certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, life safety).
• Handle preventive maintenance and service requests.
• Respond to emergencies and urgent facility issues.
• Inspect for safety, security, and maintenance concerns and report to the Operations Manager.
• Coordinate inventory needs for tools, parts, and supplies.
• Follow safety procedures and MMG policies.
