Job summary

Flex is seeking a skilled Facility Technician to support Libertyville, IL operations with maintenance across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing trades. The role involves responding to service calls, troubleshooting equipment, and performing preventive maintenance to keep systems running smoothly.

Candidates should have at least 3 years of facility maintenance experience, strong computer skills, and the ability to work independently. Familiarity with AutoCAD and basic tool sets is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school degree or higher.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in facility maintenance.
• Developed computer skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of tools: blueprints/schematics, trouble shooting, AutoCAD and mechanical/electrical tools.

Responsibilities

• Responds to service calls and in-house repairs throughout the facility.
• Troubleshoots, responds to work orders, repairs systems and equipment.
• Installs office fixtures and performs maintenance in mechanical, electrical and plumbing trades.
• Routine assignments include moving furniture, materials and equipment.
• Conducts scheduled preventive maintenance and equipment clean-up.
• Maintains records of repairs, calibrations and tests.
