Job summary

Stadler US is seeking a Facilities Technician III to join our Salt Lake City maintenance team. This senior-level role installs, repairs, troubleshoots, and performs preventive maintenance on facility systems and equipment to support production continuity and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of facilities or building systems maintenance experience.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and utility systems.
• Experience working in manufacturing, industrial, transportation, rail, or similar technical environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, compressed air, and building infrastructure.
• Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
• Diagnose equipment failures and determine corrective actions using technical drawings, manuals, and diagnostic tools.
• Maintain and repair industrial machinery, facility equipment, and utility systems.
• Monitor facility operations and respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations.
• Coordinate and oversee work performed by contractors and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, building codes, company policies, and environmental requirements.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, inspections, and equipment history documentation.
• Support facility improvement projects, equipment installations, and renovations.
• Assist in developing maintenance procedures, preventive maintenance schedules, and standard work instructions.
• Train and mentor Facilities Technicians I and II on maintenance best practices and troubleshooting techniques.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings, energy efficiency, and process improvements.
• Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours support as required.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety procedures and promoting safe work practices.

As a Facilities Technician III, is a senior-level maintenance professional responsible for the installation, repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of facility systems and equipment. This role performs advanced maintenance activities, supports production and operational continuity, ensures regulatory compliance, and provides technical guidance to junior technicians. Qualifications

• Experience working within a manufacturing, industrial, transportation, rail, or similar technical environment preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
