Job summary

ManpowerGroup in Colorado Springs is seeking a Facilities Technician III to support day-to-day facility reliability, maintenance execution, and infrastructure readiness. You will inspect equipment, manage work orders, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and document actions to prevent downtime.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 5-10 years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience.
• Trade certification in HVAC or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience with CMMS is a plus; ability to use common software platforms such as Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge and experience in at least one of the following: Industrial Water Systems, HVAC, and Industrial Compressors; plus at least one of these skills: electrical troubleshooting and safety, water pipe installation and repair, compressed air pipe installation and repair, and chemical resistant pipe installation and repair.

Responsibilities

• Conduct equipment inspections, analyze facility data, and determine actions to prevent equipment failure across critical infrastructure systems.
• Manage the work order request system—ensure work orders are performed and closed out in a timely, responsive manner.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facilities systems, ensuring tasks are completed on time and according to specifications.
• Maintain accurate records and organized documentation, keeping applicable paperwork current and easy to reference.
• Respond professionally to facility concerns and requests; perform facilities modifications including pumping systems, electrical, plumbing, controls, and coordination of janitorial and other third-party services.

Our client, industrial and advanced manufacturing support operations is seeking a Facilities Technician III to join their team. As a Facilities Technician III, you will be part of the Facilities team supporting day-to-day facility reliability, maintenance execution, and infrastructure readiness. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, a customer-service mindset when responding to facility needs, and the drive to prevent downtime through disciplined maintenance and documentation.
