Job summary

Hazelett's Vermont facility is seeking a skilled Facilities Technician II to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and building systems. You will troubleshoot issues, complete repairs, and lead improvement projects with minimal supervision.

The role requires a high school or technical diploma and 5+ years in industrial maintenance, with the ability to read drawings and operate site equipment. Overtime, winter on-call, and safety-minded work are expected.

Qualifications

High school diploma or technical diploma, or equivalent.
5+ years in industrial maintenance or manufacturing.
Ability to read drawings and specifications; troubleshoot independently.
Valid driver's license; able to operate facility vehicles.
Overtime and on-call availability, especially in winter months.
HVAC/plumbing/electrical certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and complete repairs with sound technical judgment.
Lead construction, renovation, and facility improvement projects with minimal supervision.
Inspect, lubricate, service, and maintain equipment to prevent downtime.
Maintain company grounds including seasonal upkeep and snow removal.
Operate forklifts, tractors, loaders, snowplows, and other facility equipment.
Mentor less-experienced Facilities team members.
Identify and communicate equipment, material, and facility concerns to the Facilities Team Lead.
Support a safe, clean, and productive manufacturing environment.
