Job summary

San Antonio Regional Hospital is seeking a mid-level maintenance technician to perform a variety of general maintenance and construction duties, inspect and repair buildings and equipment, and support daily facility operations. This role requires hands-on work with hand and power tools and the ability to read blueprints.

Ideal candidates will have at least one year of building maintenance experience, be comfortable working in a healthcare setting, and possess a valid California driver’s license.

Qualifications

Education

Experience

One year in building maintenance and equipment repair, preferable in a health care setting.

Knowledge and Skills

Journeyman level (expert) in at least one of the following trades, demonstrated competence in at least 2, and basic knowledge of remaining trades: Painting, Carpentry, Maintenance, Electrical, HVAC and Locksmith. Basic computer skills. Read blue prints.

License/Certifications

Valid California driver's license. Forklift certification preferred. Locksmith certification/bonded and HVAC EPA certification as applicable.

Equipment

Experience with hand and power tools. Employee provides basic personal hand tools.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to perform the essential physical requirements of the job.

PAY RANGE

$22.00 - $30.57

Salary offers are determined by candidate's relevant experience and skills. For per diem positions, a standard rate is used based on market data and not the candidate's individual experience.
