Fm Industries in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Facilities Technician to perform general maintenance, repair work, and building upkeep across properties. You will handle electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and refurbishing tasks while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include inspecting properties, prioritizing service requests, and collaborating with a team to maintain operational facilities.

Qualifications

• 3 years Facilities experience
• Basic Reading, writing, and math
• Self-directed, well organized, and motivated
• High attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Computer proficiency (Excel, Word)
• Basic working knowledge of electricity, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and refurbishing

• Prioritize and perform service requests in a timely manner
• Perform regular inspections of the property
• Interact with a wide range of people and be personable and trustworthy
• Basic working knowledge of electricity, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and refurbishing
• Must be willing to perform any task that is required (i.e., janitorial, gardening, etc.)
• Install Shop Air Drops, Electrical Drops, and Network Drops
• Routine pest control maintenance
• Comply with applicable environmental, health and safety laws and regulations, Company policy and accepted safe work practices

DESCRIPTION:

The Facilities Technician will complete general maintenance and repair work, as well as help fix and maintain machines, mechanical equipment, and buildings. They may paint, repair flooring, and work on plumbing, electrical, network, phone, and air-conditioning and heating systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Repetitive hand, wrist, arm, and shoulder movements.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
