Job summary

SmartPractice seeks a Facilities Maintenance Technician at Prickly Pear Campus in Phoenix, AZ. The role supports multiple buildings, inspects safety hazards, and assists with events.

Requirements include 1 year of facility operations experience across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry; ability to lift 75 lbs; valid AZ driver’s license; Millwright Journeyman certification preferred. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, PTO and a 401k match.

Responsibilities

• Check facility service tickets and create task lists to meet deadlines.
• Perform early morning grounds clean-up of trash and items.
• Maintain interior and exterior of buildings including furniture, lighting, plumbing, HVAC, loading docks, landscaping, and irrigation.
• Maintain facilities trucks, tools, and equipment.
• Coordinate with team members to close open tickets.

Facilities Maintenance Technician

Salary Range: $24.60 To $27.00 Hourly

Our Facilities Maintenance Technicianhelps service multiple buildings and their grounds across the valley. They inspect and report safety hazards, set up and take down company events, transport cargo as needed, and respond to facilities requests.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday

What You'll Do:

• Check facility service ticket requests by reviewing for timelines and creating task lists to accomplish priorities and meet deadlines
• Perform early morning grounds clean-up of trash and other items
• Maintain interior and exterior of buildings including furniture, lighting, plumbing, air conditioning, loading docks, landscaping, and irrigation
• Maintain facilities department’s trucks, tools, and equipment
• Communicate with team members to coordinate and close open tickets

Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year experience with facility operations and building maintenance related to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and the use of hardware required
• Ability to life 75 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time required
• Valid Arizona driver’s license and clean driving record required
• Millwright Journeyman Certificates or similar certification is preferred
