Doxim is seeking a proactive Facilities Technician II to uphold production equipment, plant systems, and facility infrastructure across a three-shift operation. You will work independently and with peers, mentoring Maintenance Technician I while diagnosing complex failures and implementing corrective actions.
You will also lead preventive maintenance, document all work in CMMS, and perform electrical installations and various facility repairs to keep operations safe and efficient.

Responsibilities
Serve as an advanced technician supporting production equipment, plant systems, and facility infrastructure across a three-shift operation.
Work independently and collaboratively with a team of technicians; provide guidance and informal mentoring to Maintenance Technician I employees.
Perform advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems in accordance with SOPs, manufacturer specifications, and safety policies.
Diagnose complex equipment failures and determine appropriate corrective actions with minimal supervision.
Lead or support preventive and predictive maintenance activities to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
Maintain and update CMMS records, including detailed documentation of work performed, root cause findings, and parts usage.
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to maintenance practices, safety, reliability, and cost control.
Install, maintain, and modify electrical systems and fixtures, including conduit installation and control wiring.
Perform advanced facility repairs including plumbing, carpentry, drywall, painting, masonry, and structural repairs.
Repair, calibrate, and maintain tools and equipment; ensure proper condition and safe use of hand and power tools.
Participate in emergency repairs and breakdown response activities.
Work across shifts and provide coverage or leadership support during off-hours as needed.
Maintain sanitation, housekeeping, and safety standards at all times.
Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Skills
Advanced troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, controls, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Strong analytical and root-cause problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals.
Effective communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly.
Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and teamwork skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
High level of self-motivation with the ability to work independently.
Results-driven mindset with an interest in continuous improvement and advancement
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Technical school, vocational training, or associate degree in industrial maintenance, electrical, mechanical, or related field preferred.
Relevant technical certifications (electrical, industrial maintenance, controls, or safety-related) are a plus.
System Knowledge
Advanced working knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications.
SAP system experience strongly preferred.
Preferred experience with Pitney Bowes, Bell and Howell, and bulk printing or similar production equipment.
Physical Demand
Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50–55 pounds.
Ability to stand for extended periods (typically 8–12 hours per shift).
Repetitive movements including bending, reaching, twisting, and kneeling.
Exposure to loud noise, vibration, moving mechanical parts, fumes, and airborne particulates.
