Job summary

Hamilton Health Center Inc. in Harrisburg, PA seeks a Facilities Technician to ensure safe, clean, and efficient operation of our facilities.

You will monitor building systems, perform minor repairs, conduct safety inspections, and assist with mail, supplies, landscaping, and housekeeping tasks. Ideal candidates will have healthcare knowledge, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• Healthcare knowledge and basic medical terminology.
• Proficiency in basic data entry and computer skills.
• Ability to communicate courteously and effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Team-oriented with cooperative approach to clinic operations.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation; ability to travel within service area and work evenings/weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean, and secure environment for all individuals and facilities.
• Report malfunctions and safety issues to Facilities Management.
• Perform routine HVAC, plumbing, and electrical repairs as directed.
• Assist with mail, supplies, and light housekeeping tasks.
• Assist with landscaping, snow removal, and maintaining landscape appearance.
• Routinely perform quality inspections of contracted services and inventory control of cleaning supplies.
