Job summary

The YWCA Greater Harrisburg is seeking a full-time Facility Maintenance Technician to oversee maintenance, repair, and upkeep of our facilities and grounds. This hands-on leadership role ensures our buildings remain safe, clean, functional, and welcoming for staff, clients, residents, and visitors.

Responsibilities include coordinating preventative maintenance, managing repairs and improvement projects, maintaining records, and supervising on-site tasks from HVAC to safety inspections.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of facilities maintenance or related field experience.
• Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
• Understanding of safety and regulatory requirements (OSHA, ADA, fire codes).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance, repair, and upkeep of facilities and grounds.
• Coordinate preventative maintenance and manage repairs/improvement projects.
• Maintain records of repairs, schedules, and compliance checks.
• Assist with contractor quotes and supervise on-site work.
• Ensure safe, welcoming environment for staff, clients, and visitors.
• Coordinate landscaping, groundskeeping, and exterior maintenance.
