Job summary
EBARA in Sacramento, CA is seeking an Entry to Mid-level Facilities Maintenance Technician. You will perform preventative maintenance on building systems, support HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks, and assist with site safety and cleaning.
Responsibilities include inspections, routine repairs, work order management, and basic troubleshooting. A 2-year degree or equivalent experience is preferred, with up to 2 years in the field and willingness to travel as needed.
Qualifications
- High School, GED or Associate degree or equivalent experience required.
- 0–2 years of building maintenance or related construction experience desired.
- Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 35 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC, lighting, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Carry out general repairs to fixtures, walls, floors, and doors as needed.
- Monitor building operations and assist with event setup and basic troubleshooting.
- Complete safety inspections, site walk-throughs, and routine cleaning tasks.
- Document tasks and close out maintenance work orders in facility software.
