SALVATION ARMY A GEORGIA CORP in Waco, TX is seeking a Facilities Maintenance technician to perform routine repairs for buildings and grounds, including minor HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general upkeep.

The role requires reading, writing in English, physical activity, and a valid driver's license. Two to three years of maintenance experience is preferred, with responsibilities spanning lighting, systems inspection, and preventive maintenance, under supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years of maintenance/repair experience for commercial buildings preferred.
• Valid State Driver License required.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine building maintenance and minor repairs (plumbing, carpentry, electrical) and routine grounds upkeep.
• Monitors and repairs lighting systems and electrical components.
• Inspects, tests, and maintains HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other building systems.
• Keeps accurate records of preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Assists with moving office furniture and supervising external service contracts as needed.
