Job summary

Freedom House Recovery Center, Inc. seeks a Facilities Technician 1 to maintain, inspect, and repair its facilities and vehicle fleet, while performing carpentry, painting, and routine maintenance tasks.

You will manage work orders, vehicle records, and expenses and collaborate with staff to ensure reliable service across the organization. The role requires basic maintenance experience and a valid NC driver's license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of safety guidelines for tools and cleaning materials.
• Valid NC driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair mechanical/electrical equipment and consult vendors when needed.
• Oversee agency fleet maintenance and vehicle records.
• Keep vehicle registrations and safety inspections up to date.
