Job summary

Festo Corporation is seeking a Facilities Technician I to support basic maintenance tasks, preventative upkeep, and service requests. The role reports to the Facilities team and emphasizes safety and reliability.

You will execute tasks, troubleshoot under guidance, coordinate with contractors on-site, and keep CMMS work orders up to date. Travel to corporate locations may be required.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED required.
• 1–3 years in maintenance or similar role.
• Experience in construction or property maintenance.
• Basic mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Familiarity with basic building repairs and tools.
• Ability to follow direction and complete tasks.
• Willingness to learn facility systems.

Responsibilities

• Execute assigned preventative maintenance tasks.

• Interacts regularly with internal customer.
• Travel may be required to corporate HQ/field offices for business reasons.

Key accountabilities

• Execute assigned preventative maintenance tasks
• Respond to basic service requests and maintenance work
• Assist with troubleshooting and repairs under guidance
• Support contractor work on-site (access and basic assistance)
• Maintain accurate work order updates in CMMS
• Identify and elevate issues beyond capability
• Support general Facilities activities to upkeep and maintain safe and functional operations
• Regular communication with Facilities Coordinator and team
• Coordination with team members on task execution, support and escalation
• Interacts regularly with internal customer

• Travel may be required via any mode of transportation as determined by Company for business reasons such as, but not limited to, skill development, training, or a company business event. This would include travel to Corporate Headquarters/Field Offices.

Knowledge and Experience

• High School degree, diploma or a GED equivalent or qualification from an accredited institution.
• Experience in construction or property maintenance
• 1-3 years in maintenance. similar role, or equivalent
• Basic mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Familiarity of basic building repairs and tools
• Follow direction and complete assigned tasks
