Job summary

Water and Power Community Credit Union in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Facilities Specialist I to support day-to-day maintenance and facilities operations across locations. You will complete work orders, assist with upkeep, and ensure safe, functional spaces for staff and members.

Under the supervision of the Assistant Facilities Manager, you will learn building systems, follow procedures, and contribute to a responsive, service-oriented facilities team dedicated to safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–2 years of facilities or related experience preferred but not required.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word and office applications.
• Strong communication and organizational skills required.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, service-focused team player.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders related to maintenance, repairs, and facility support.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks and general upkeep.
• Follow established procedures and guidance to address facility issues.
• Ensure work orders are completed accurately within timeframes.
• Assist with vendor access and site coordination as directed.
• Support safety and regulatory compliance awareness.
• Communicate work status and updates to leadership.
