Job summary

Medxcel is hiring for a Facilities Maintenance role at St Tomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville. The technician will perform testing, inspection and upkeep of facility systems and perform routine maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, and related infrastructure.

Responsibilities include keeping walkways safe, moving materials between locations, and checking medical transport gear and nurse call systems for proper operation.

Qualifications

• No minimum qualifications required.
• Experience in facilities maintenance preferred.
• Ability to perform routine upkeep safely.

Responsibilities

• Test, inspect, and upkeep facility equipment, structures, and systems.
• Perform routine HVAC, refrigeration, and plumbing maintenance and minor repairs.
• Keep high-traffic areas safe and clear of hazards, debris, and ice.
• Distribute materials, move furniture/equipment between locations.
• Conduct daily checks on medical transport gear and utility systems with safety compliance.
