Relativity Space is seeking a Facilities Technician I to support daily operations, maintenance, and repair of our Cape Canaveral facilities. This entry-level role provides hands-on training across multiple trades, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
Under direct supervision, you will perform preventive maintenance, follow instructions, and contribute to cross-team projects.

The launch operations team is a part of the Cape Canaveral launch site and is primarily responsible for the operational aspects of vehicle integration, payload integration, pad operations, countdown operations, recovery, and reusability. Over the last few years, the launch operations team successfully lifted the Terran 1 vehicle off the ground and have transitioned focus to designing and building the infrastructure to support our next generation vehicle, Terran R. The team is working hand in hand across multiple engineering disciplines to build out critical systems such as the launch pad, transport erector, integration hardware, transport vessels, horizontal integration facilities, and much more to support the Terran R program.
The Facilities Technician supports the daily operations, maintenance, and repair of company facilities. This entry-level role is responsible for assisting with preventive maintenance, troubleshooting building systems, and ensuring a safe, clean, and functional work environment. The Facilities Technician I works under direct supervision and receives hands‑on training to develop technical skills across multiple trades, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance.
Successful candidates must clear a background check administered by the U.S. government to obtain clearance for on‑site work at our government partner location in Cape Canaveral, Florida.
