Job Summary

Genezen is committed to bringing therapies for unmet medical needs to patients. The Facilities Technician I is responsible for maintaining utilities and equipment used in our development and manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with cGMP and EH&S standards.

Essential Job Functions

1. Perform daily inspections and checklists of utility spaces and equipment.
2. Monitor, order, and replace compressed gas cylinders (oxygen, CO2).
3. Perform scheduled maintenance of equipment and utility systems under guidance.
4. Coordinate maintenance activities with relevant departments.
5. Document work activities using electronic maintenance systems.
6. Serve as a point of contact for contractors and service providers.

Special Job Requirements

• Work schedule may vary based on business needs.

• Other duties as assigned.

Education / Certifications / Licenses

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Skills / Abilities

• Mechanical aptitude.
• Positive attitude, service-oriented, and task completion skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Trade skills such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC are a plus.
• Experience with building support functions is advantageous.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Sit, stand, walk, and perform physical tasks as described.
• Lift up to 10 pounds frequently, up to 25 pounds rarely.
