Job summary

Vertical Health Services in Raytown, MO is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Assistant to help keep our facility safe, functional, and well‑maintained. You’ll inspect and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems and coordinate preventative maintenance in a skilled nursing environment.

This role requires a strong mechanical background, ability to work independently or with a team, and a commitment to high standards of service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Commitment to high standards of customer service and safety.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with painting, light carpentry, electrical, plumbing, grounds maintenance and preventative maintenance.
• Help maintain the overall safety and functionality of the facility through timely repairs and preventative measures.
• Ensure the facility meets all safety regulations and standards.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff or tenants.
• Perform maintenance-related duties as assigned by the Maintenance Director.
