Job summary

Divergent is seeking a hands-on Facilities Technician to support operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our Long Beach manufacturing facility. You will help ensure reliable building systems, safety, and uptime in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, excels at problem solving, and can work with Production, EH&S, and external contractors. Some work may occur at our Torrance HQ as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical school, trade certification, or Associate's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of facilities maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience maintaining HVAC, electrical, plumbing, compressed air, or mechanical systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, equipment manuals, and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on facility infrastructure (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.).
• Assist with installation, commissioning, relocation, and decommissioning of manufacturing equipment.
• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance using CMMS and document work orders.
• Ensure facility systems comply with OSHA and local regulations; follow safety procedures.
• Participate in facility improvement projects to increase reliability and efficiency.
