Job summary

Neros Technologies in Torrance, CA is seeking a Facilities Technician to support day-to-day facility operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and assist with small infrastructure projects across mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and building systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of facilities maintenance or related hands-on experience.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or building infrastructure.
• Experience performing preventative maintenance on facility or industrial equipment.
• Comfortable troubleshooting equipment in the field and using common maintenance tools.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and related equipment.
• Strong attention to safety and ability to follow procedures.
• Reliable, responsive and able to manage multiple work requests.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections on facility equipment and infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and utility issues in a fast-paced environment.
• Support equipment installations, small project work, and relayouts of spaces.
• Respond to facility alarms, outages, leaks, and other incidents; participate in after-hours support.
• Move equipment and furniture, assemble lab benches, storage systems, and support workspace reconfigurations.
