Job summary

Samtec is seeking a Facilities Technician in Colorado Springs, CO for first shift (Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM). You will support site infrastructure, preventive maintenance, and coordination with contractors to keep the office, clean room, and electronics lab safe and productive.

The role requires 2–4 years in a high-tech facilities environment, capability to lift 50 lbs, and proficiency with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems; strong communication and safety awareness are

Qualifications

Minimum 2–4 years in a high-tech environment or industrial facilities management.
Experience with commercial building systems.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
Willing to work in a chemical environment and follow safety rules.

Responsibilities

Performs day-to-day facilities preventative maintenance and repairs for the office, clean room and electronics lab areas.
Makes daily walk-through inspections to identify repairs and safety hazards.
Oversees contractors performing work in the facility.
Maintains building systems including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management.
Ensures safety standards and budget adherence for work orders.
