Job summary

The Boothbay Region YMCA is seeking an experienced facilities/maintenance professional to support a range of activities and programs that strengthen the community. This full-time role collaborates with the Director of Facilities to keep the campus secure, clean, and compliant with licensing standards while guiding staff and contractors.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years in related facilities work, CPR/First Aid certification within 60 days, and strong teamwork and multitasking abilities to manage

• 5–7 years of related facilities/maintenance experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification within 60 days.
• Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork.
• Ability to multi-task and lead others.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with the Director of Facilities to promote healthy living, social responsibility, and youth development.
• Keeps YMCA campus functioning, secure, and clean while ensuring safety and licensing standards.
• Oversees maintenance staff and coordinates with contractors as needed.
• Performs routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building and equipment.
• Coordinates groundskeeping tasks including mowing, snow removal, and salting.
• Assists with staff and volunteer recruitment and program support.
