Job summary

Cayuga Health is seeking a dedicated Facilities Worker for Cayuga Addiction Recovery Services Residential Campus in Trumansburg, NY. The role runs full-time days (8am-4pm) with some weekend/holiday rotations and up to 25% travel to support other sites.

Responsibilities include maintaining a safe environment, performing preventive maintenance, and assisting the Facilities team with various trades. A HS Diploma and 1 year handyman experience are required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year experience as handyman helper or laborer in mechanical or construction trades.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and to climb, bend, and work in tight spaces.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and compliant environment following safety procedures.
• Participate in on-call rotations and support emergency/operational coverage.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, installation and repairs on facility systems and equipment.
• Assist Facilities team with duties, organize tools and inventory, and move furniture/equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and support regulatory/compliance activities.
