Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Technician 1 to support conference/event planning and complex facilities tasks in our Burlington, NJ location. This entry-level role emphasizes customer service and basic maintenance to keep offices and spaces functional.

The role requires reading and following detailed instructions, basic computer use, and the ability to move furniture and assist with upkeep tasks. A valid driver's license is required for local travel and event support.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or equivalent is required; Trade School degree or certificate is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to follow detailed, written, multi-step instructions.
• Ability to operate a computer and mobile device for event calendars, Work orders, emails, and communication.
• Ability to move furniture and assist with maintenance tasks including snow removal and janitorial duties.
• Ability to work as part of a team when required.

Responsibilities

• Primary provider of conference and special event setup and teardown, and delivery/upkeep of event furniture.
• Provide furniture and associate relocation services.
• Perform emergency tasks as required.
• Contribute to daily upkeep of corporate buildings and grounds (furniture, vehicles, and other assets).
• Assist with sample merchandise disposition and transportation.
