Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a large healthcare facility in Texarkana, TX. You’ll perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on building systems including mechanical and electrical components, supporting energy efficiency and safety.

Ideal candidates have basic mechanical experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage work orders through a CMMS.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1–2 years of related experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to read diagrams and follow maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical and building systems.
• Inspect equipment, diagnose issues, and complete repairs.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment.
• Review work orders and track completion using available systems.
• Support energy management and ensure safety code compliance.
• Follow defined procedures under supervision and guidance.
