Job summary

City of Saratoga Springs is hiring a full-time Facilities Technician to support custodial and maintenance upkeep for City buildings. The role is approximately 40 hours per week, with Wednesday–Saturday shifts from 5:00am to 4:00pm.

Responsibilities include cleaning, minor repairs, equipment maintenance, security, and event setup. Candidates should have a high school diploma and two years in custodial/maintenance, plus a valid Utah driver license.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
• Two years experience in custodial/maintenance or related field

Responsibilities

• Performs standard cleaning tasks (vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, trash) and sanitizes bathrooms and kitchens.
• Performs periodic major cleaning projects and keeps inventory records.
• Notifies supervisor about repairs and assists with building maintenance (lighting, painting, minor electrical/plumbing).
• Assists with building security, event setup, and snow removal.
• May oversee external vendors and coordinate maintenance scheduling.
