O’Neil Digital Solutions is seeking a Facilities Technician I in Los Angeles to perform routine building maintenance and inspections, and to support the facility's mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.

You will read manuals, troubleshoot, replace parts, and collaborate with team members while following safety rules and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. Minimum of five years of facilities maintenance experience and ability to lift 40 pounds are required.

Competenze

• High School graduate with at least 5 years of facilities maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.

Summary

The Facilities Technician I position is responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform facility inspections, detect malfunctions and needed repairs. Report on conditions affecting operations
• Perform ongoing preventative maintenance and repair work on facility mechanical, electrical and other installed systems
• Maintain, operate all HVAC/Chiller systems and associated equipment, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, building automation systems and building repairs
• Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments
• Assist with performing regular preventive maintenance on machines and equipment
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties
• Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
• Other duties as assisgned

Qualifications & Requirements

• High School graduate, or completion of GED required, as well as at least 5 years of facilities maintenance experience
• Strong hydraulic, pheumatic, mechanical and industrial skills, HVAC, Plumbing and basic understanding of PLC’s
• Experience in a manufacturing environemnt is a plus
• Ability to lift 40 pounds without restriction
• Must have strong mechanical skills
• Strong knowledge of Whole House Air compressor systems and emergency backup power is preferred
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English
• Must possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail, along with effective time-management abilities
• Must also be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals, reading specifications and drawings
• Perform all work and activities with honesty and integrity
• Take personal responsibility for productivity, quality and timeliness of work
• Effectively communicate (and listen) clearly, professionally, politely and persuasively in all situations; respond well and in a reasonable, timely manner

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk and use hands to type. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
