Job summary

McKesson is seeking a Facilities Support Technician to sustain day-to-day operation, maintenance, and reliability of our distribution center facilities and automation equipment. You will perform inspections, minor repairs, and assist with preventive maintenance to ensure a safe, efficient work environment.

The role collaborates with operations and facility teams to address maintenance needs, support uptime, and ensure safety compliance across the site.

Qualifications

• Typically requires 1+ years of related experience.
• Experience with routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Ability to safely use common hand and power tools.
• Basic computer skills and maintenance tracking software experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine facility and equipment inspections to identify maintenance issues and support preventive maintenance activities.
• Respond to facility service requests and complete general maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, lighting replacements, spill response, and workspace adjustments.
• Support the operation and functionality of automation systems and associated equipment by identifying and escalating maintenance concerns.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, inspection reports, and inventory documentation.
• Assist with facility projects, inventory management, and emergency response activities while adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
