Maverik/Kum & Go is hiring a Maintenance Technician based in Las Vegas, NV to perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and general facility upkeep across our retail locations. This full-time role offers competitive hourly pay, comprehensive benefits, bonus eligibility, and in-store discounts.

THIS POSITION IS BASED IN LAS VEGAS NEVADA ONLY

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Repair or replace defective equipment parts, using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment
  2. Perform routine, preventive maintenance to ensure our stores and equipment continue to operate properly.
  3. Perform basic trade functions including electrical, plumbing, assembly, installation, or repair of wiring, electrical or electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, or equipment
  4. Use tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices
  5. Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary
  6. Dismantle devices to access and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools
  7. Paint or repair roofs, windows, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, drywall, or other parts of building structures
  8. Review gauges, dials, or other indicators to ensure proper machine operation
  9. Maintain and repair specialized equipment and machinery found in food service
  10. Perform general cleaning of buildings or properties
  11. Must maintain a valid driver’s license and pass a driving record check
  12. Additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications: Education
  • High School Diploma/GED is required
Qualifications: Experience
  • 1+ years of experience in related field preferred
  • Basic computer skills
  • Experience with ticketing management systems such as (ServiceNow, Cherwell), preferred
Qualifications: Competencies
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including strong listening skills
  • Ability to operate independently without continuous oversight
  • Proven ability to prioritize and balance needs effectively
  • Initiative in identifying and solving work-related problems
  • Sound judgment in decision-making
Physical requirements:
  • Perform repetitive physical behaviors such as standing, walking, handling, reaching, and grasping throughout a shift
  • Frequently reach above the shoulder, below the waist, push buttons, bend, stoop, squat, crouch, kneel, and push
  • Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Work safely with high-temperature equipment using PPE
  • Work in environments with fluctuating temperatures
  • Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, and depth perception

Note: Duties and responsibilities may change at management's discretion. Scheduling and work locations may also vary.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay Range: $22.00 - $24.00/hourly
  • Benefits include health, dental, vision, discounts, 401K, bonus, and PTO
