The Facilities Technician is responsible for evaluating facility issues, scheduling and monitoring subcontractors, and performing general maintenance tasks, such as replacing lightbulbs and making minor plumbing repairs. This role involves responding to facility requests, assisting with office relocations, and installing office fixtures and equipment. Additionally, the Facilities Technician develops preventative maintenance routines, reviews contractor invoices, and ensures facility efficiency and safety.
Evaluate issues and determine the need for subcontractor intervention. Schedule, escort, and monitor contractors and vendors to ensure work is completed to specifications. Proactively identify and address potential facility issues before they elevate. Respond to facilities requests from SHI management and personnel in a timely manner, including during off hours. Perform general maintenance, including replacing lightbulbs and making minor plumbing repairs. Assist with office relocations, including departmental and employee moves. Install and maintain office fixtures such as monitors, pictures, whiteboards, and shelves. Modify furniture and perform minor repairs on AV equipment. Review and approve contractor/vendor invoices for accuracy and compliance with SOW and SHI’s purchase orders. Develop and maintain a consistent preventative maintenance routine to ensure facility efficiency and safety.
The base salary range for this position is $45,000 - $55,000. The estimated on-target earnings, or OTE, which includes a base salary and bonus/commissions, are $45,000 - $55,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
