Position Type: Hourly / Non-Exempt
Location: Taylor, TX

Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Facilities Technician to join our team. This position plays a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facility. The ideal candidate will be dependable, self-motivated, and take pride in their work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces
  • Clean and restock restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas
  • Collect and dispose of trash and recycling according to facility guidelines
  • Maintain cleanliness of entrances, hallways, office areas, and production or warehouse spaces as needed
  • Follow safety and cleaning protocols including proper use of chemicals and personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Report maintenance or repair needs to the Facilities Supervisor promptly
  • Assist with set-up and clean-up for meetings, events, or special projects
  • Follow daily checklists and ensure all assigned areas meet cleanliness standards

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior cleaning or janitorial experience
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Physically able to perform repetitive tasks, lift up to 30 lbs, and stand or walk for extended periods
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed
  • Indoor and outdoor work environment, depending on facility needs
  • Exposure to cleaning agents and various working conditions (e.g., noise, temperature changes)
