Job summary

Ultradent Products Inc is seeking a Facilities Technician II to perform routine operations, maintenance and repairs on physical plant systems and components. The role includes painting, minor building repairs, preventative maintenance, snow removal and safe operation of vehicles.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of facilities experience, a high school diploma or GED, and good communication and safety skills. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a dynamic environment with PPE usage.

Ultradent, a global name in oral health, has seven state-of-the art facilities that covers close to a million square feet of space that houses manufacturing operations, cGMP space, shipping facilities, print shop, machine shop, analytical/quality control laboratories and corporate offices.We are looking for a Facilities Technician II to be responsible for performing routine operations, maintenance and repairs on physical plant systems/components and maintaining clean work/shop areas to help keep these facilities running. This position will follow inventory control and part procurement procedures while maintaining a safe work environment and wearing appropriate PPE. The technician is also responsible to the customer for courteous, accurate and timely service!Important job responsibilities:Performs general maintenance duties, such as: fixing wall covers, floor covers and some furniture and fixtures; light plumbing work and appliance repairs.Performs painting and refurbishing projectsPerforms routine preventive maintenancePerforms minor building and equipment repairs.Assists, during winter, with snow removal efforts.Works in a safe manner to prevent injury to self and others.Does routine maintenance on company vehicles when assigned.\\Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned.Maintain the buildings utilizing skills including but not limited to framing, sheetrock, Painting, flooring and other daily maintenance tasksMaintain building equipment through preventative maintenance programPick-up and deliver materials as needed.What we’re looking for in you:High school graduate or GED with valid driver license and clean driving record.Minimum 2 years facility and maintenance experience or similar construction experienceFamiliar with power tools and safety requirements.Basic math and computer skills needed.Must have good communication skills.Must have strong people skillsMust be able to lift up to 50 poundsMust be prepared for moderate to heavy physical effort; being exposed to the elements (heat, cold, rain, snow); work in areas with hazardous equipment and moving parts; work on roof tops and other high placesMust have ability to set up and climb ladders safely with tools and equipment necessary for assigned workMust be able to walk, stand and stoop for an extended period of time (over 80% of the time)Ultradent is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
