Job summary

nVent seeks a Facilities Technician to support maintenance and operation of facility systems, ensuring a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.

The role covers hands-on building maintenance, minor repairs, preventive maintenance, and facility improvement projects while working with seasoned professionals. 2nd shift is available, with a 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM schedule.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with routine maintenance of facility systems, plumbing, compressed air, scrap processing, and building infrastructure.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks according to schedules.
• Support troubleshooting and basic repairs of facility equipment and systems.
• Complete work orders and maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Ensure tools, equipment, and maintenance areas are organized and maintained.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and facility enhancement projects.
• Respond to facility maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Perform other job duties as assigned.
