Our client, a world leader in biotechnology and life sciences, is looking for a “Facilities Technician” based out of San Diego, CA.

Job Duration: Long Term Contract (Possibility Of Extension)

Pay Rate: $39/hr on W2

Summary

In this role, you will support lab, office, and GMP facility operations in a fast-paced biotech environment. And you will be responsible for maintaining building systems, responding to maintenance requests, supporting utilities, and ensuring smooth facility operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Support building utilities and lab operations
• Respond to work orders and facility alarms
• Maintain maintenance logs and CMMS documentation
• Coordinate with outside vendors and service providers
• Support GMP and laboratory environments

Qualifications

• 4+ years of facilities maintenance experience
• Experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, GMP, or lab environments preferred
• Knowledge of HVAC, building utilities, and maintenance systems
• Experience with CMMS/BMS systems such as Siemens Desigo preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
